Vomit is when your body throws up food or liquids that have gone into your stomach. It's not something you want to do.

When people talk about vomiting, they often use it as a way to describe feeling really sick or queasy. For example, "I feel like I'm going to vomit" means someone feels so unwell that they think they might throw up soon. They might say this when they're on a boat and getting seasick, or if they ate something bad for lunch. If you've been eating too much greasy food, you might start feeling nauseous and want to vomit.
