An unnoticed thing or event is one that people are not aware of or paying attention to. Something can go unnoticed if it's small or quiet.

When we talk about something being unnoticed, we often think about situations where someone does a good deed but nobody notices. If you volunteer at a soup kitchen and the regular customers don't even say thank you, your efforts might be going unnoticed. In this sense, it doesn't mean that what happened was bad; rather, it just means that people didn't see or appreciate it. On the other hand, if someone is doing something wrong but nobody reports them, that's also going unnoticed, and in a negative way.
