Theorizing means thinking about and explaining ideas or theories in a way that tries to make sense of things.
When people theorize, they are usually trying to figure out how something works or why it happens. They might use examples from history, science, or personal experience to back up their ideas. For instance, if you were studying the effects of climate change and you wrote about what might happen in 50 years based on current trends, that would be an example of theorizing. You're not saying for sure what will happen, but rather using your understanding of the data to make educated guesses and predictions.
To formulate a theory, especially about some specific subject.
