A teenager is a young person who is between the ages of 13 and 19.

When we talk about teenagers, it's common to be thinking about those pre-adult years when your body starts changing rapidly and you start trying to figure out who you are. You might know someone who's in this stage right now - they're probably dealing with school and friends, as well as the usual teenage concerns like acne, peer pressure, and wanting independence from their parents. Sometimes it feels like a big identity crisis is going on, but in reality, it's just a normal part of growing up.
