A superhero is someone who has special powers or abilities that help them save people and fight against bad things. They are often fictional characters in movies, books, or TV shows.

When we talk about superheroes, we usually mean people like Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman - individuals with incredible strength, speed, agility, or other powers that allow them to protect the world from danger. We might also refer to real-life heroes who do extraordinary things, such as firefighters, police officers, or medical workers who risk their lives to save others.

The word "superhero" can be a bit tricky because it's often associated with comic books and movies, but in everyday language, we use the term more broadly. If someone says "my superhero is my mom," for example, they might mean that their mother has been a role model or an inspiration to them, not necessarily someone with superpowers.
