A skydiver is someone who jumps out of an airplane and uses a parachute to safely land back on the ground. They often do this for fun or as part of a sport.

When we talk about skydivers, it's usually in the context of extreme sports or adventure activities. You might hear people saying things like "I went skydiving over the weekend" or "Skydiving is my favorite way to experience the rush of adrenaline." Skydivers often jump from high altitudes and perform various stunts while free-falling, before opening their parachutes and gliding gently back down to earth.
