A reflective person thinks about their thoughts and actions. They might sit quietly for a bit, trying to understand themselves better.
When people describe someone as being reflective, they usually mean that this person spends time thinking deeply about things that happened or decisions made. Maybe you know someone who always seems to take a moment after a conversation to gather their thoughts before responding. That's probably because they're being reflective – they're considering what the other person said and how it might relate to them in some way.
That reflects, or redirects back to the source.
Example: Mirrors are reflective.
