Patience is the ability to stay calm and wait for a long time without getting upset or frustrated.

When we talk about patience, we often think of situations where we have to wait for something that seems like it's taking forever. For example, if you're waiting in line at the grocery store for an hour on a busy Saturday afternoon, someone might say, "Don't get impatient, just be patient and it will be your turn soon." Or, when you're learning a new skill or hobby, like playing a musical instrument or riding a bike, patience is key. It's easy to feel like giving up if things aren't coming easily at first, but with patience, you can keep practicing and eventually see progress. Patience also comes into play in relationships - waiting for someone who's always running late or understanding when someone makes a mistake.
