A passageway is a narrow path or corridor that leads from one place to another. It can be inside a building or outside, like between buildings.
You probably use the word "passageway" when describing places you've been, or even just your daily commute. Think about it - have you ever walked through a hallway in an office building, or navigated a crowded mall? Those are passageways! You might also think of a long, winding path through a park as a kind of passageway between different parts of the green space. If you're planning a road trip and think about all the roads that will lead you from one town to another, those too can be thought of as passageways.
Note: As a verb, "to passageway" means to move through or along a passage or corridor.
A covered walkway, between rooms or buildings.
