The word "mundane" describes things that are ordinary and not special or exciting.

That's a pretty mundane life - nothing out of the ordinary happens on a regular basis. You might use the word "mundane" when describing your job, saying something like, "I'm so tired of doing the same tasks every day, it's just so mundane."
