A leap is a jump in the air or a big step forward.

When we talk about taking a leap, we often mean doing something brave and taking a risk. It could be quitting a job to start your own business, moving to a new country for love, or applying for a scholarship to study abroad. We're using our imagination and courage to imagine what could be if we take that big step forward.
