An impart means to share or give information, skills, or feelings to someone. You can also think of it as passing something on.
When we talk about imparting things to others, it's often in the context of sharing knowledge, emotions, or experiences. For example, a teacher imparts their expertise and understanding to students during a lesson. A doctor might impart bad news to a patient, but they're still giving them information that's important for the patient to know. Even in informal settings, we can think about imparting our feelings or opinions to someone else through conversation.
