A greasy place is one that's dirty with oil or grease.
You might hear someone say their car's engine was really greasy after they forgot to change the oil. That means it had a thick layer of grime on it, and probably needed cleaning. Greasy food, like fries at a restaurant, can be yummy but also messy. People often use paper towels to wipe away grease stains from tables or countertops. Sometimes, people's hands get greasy after working with their cars or doing other manual labor jobs.
How common is "greasy"?
