expansive

An expansive person or idea is one that's big and open-minded.

When we say someone is expansive, we usually mean they have a wide view of things. They're not stuck on their own ideas and are happy to consider other perspectives. For example, if you meet someone who's very interested in different cultures and is always asking questions about how people live in other parts of the world, that person might be called expansive. Expansive can also describe a place or an activity that feels roomy and has plenty of space for everyone – like a big, empty beach on a summer day.
