An enforcer is someone who makes sure rules or laws are followed by others. This person usually has some authority or power.

In many cases, an enforcer is a police officer or security guard whose job is to keep order and enforce the law. They might patrol streets, watch for suspicious activity, or even participate in high-speed chases if needed. If you're at work or school, there may be someone acting as an enforcer – perhaps a supervisor who makes sure everyone follows the rules.
