A disguise is when someone hides their real identity or appearance.

You see disguises everywhere in movies and TV shows – spies wear them to sneak into secret meetings, villains hide behind masks to avoid being caught. But in real life, people use disguises too, like wearing a wig and hat to keep from being recognized at an event. Sometimes it's fun to play around with identities, like dressing up as your favorite superhero for Halloween.
