Devotion is a strong feeling or act of loyalty and dedication to someone or something.

When we talk about devotion, it's usually in the context of how much love and commitment someone has for another person, like a partner or family member. We might say that someone is devoted to their job if they work really hard and are passionate about what they do. But devotion can also mean being completely dedicated to a hobby, like playing music or painting.
