choreographer

A choreographer is someone who creates and plans the movements for a dance performance.

When you hear about a famous dancer or a big musical production, they probably have a choreographer behind the scenes. A choreographer's job is to decide on the style of dance, work out the steps with the dancers, and put together the whole routine so that it looks smooth and enjoyable when performed live. They might be responsible for creating new moves or reworking old ones to fit the theme and mood of the show. Sometimes a choreographer will even help design the costumes and set to match the dance style, making their role a really important part of bringing the performance together.
