An accomplishment is something you achieve or do successfully after working hard on it.

Think of a time when you set out to learn how to play the guitar, and after months of practice, you finally mastered your favorite song. That's an accomplishment! Or maybe you trained for a marathon and reached your goal of finishing it in under four hours - that's also an accomplishment. People often talk about their accomplishments as if they're proud achievements, like winning an award or getting a promotion at work. But really, any time you push yourself to try something new and succeed, that's an accomplishment. It might be as simple as cooking a delicious meal for the first time or learning a new language - whatever it is, you should feel good about it because it took effort and perseverance.
